April 19 and 21, 1892 - The Vacaville-Winters Earthquake

On April 19 and 21, two earthquakes, estimated at
magnitude 6.5 and 6.2, caused major damage in Vacaville and Winters
(Winters holds an Earthquake Street Festival – usually on the third Friday of August),
and also damaged Davisville (now the city of Davis).
