"Why did we become geologists?" It probably all started with some snippet of information that caught our attention. You know how it is...you're reading the newspaper or listening to the radio, and some factoid just leaps out and grabs you by the brain. You mutter to yourself, "H'uh. I didn't know that." You go looking for some information on the subject...then a little more information...and before you know it...you've got yourself a career.
