10 week masters thesis: Presentation of the research conducted on travertine formation associated with active serpentinization at The Cedars, near Cazadero, CA. The Geology 281 Analytical Methods class taught by Peter Schiffman and Robert Zierenberg produced some interesting research results while learning about the analytical capabilities of the Department of Geology.
