There are three Graduate Advisers in the department of Geology at UC Davis. Dr. Sandra Carlson is the chair of the Geology Graduate Program. She is in charge of continuing student matters and handles student evaluations and progress meetings. She also will approve and sign most forms and petitions to Graduate Studies. Dr. James Rustad handles graduate student support such as fellowships and TAs. In addition, students may receive additional assistance from the department's Graduate Secretary, Ms. Marlene Belz, who is available in her office, room 174 Physics/Geology Building, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed from noon to 1:00 pm), Monday through Friday.
